The daily double
Well today the guys pulled off the daily double. Guide Corey White and
camera man Dusty Altman headed out this morning hoping to get some
good footage of some turkeys.Man did they have a hunt of a
lifetime.They had 5 toms and 4 jakes come into the decoy right after
sunlight. Within 30 mintues they had killed 2 birds Corey's bird
weighed 23 lbs 11/4 spurs and 10 inch beard. Dusty's bird weighed 17
lbs and 12inch beard. The key to the hunt was Fast Freddy a real
mounted decoy in full strut which made its debut today. Those big
birds didn't like the thought of some punk bird sneaking into there
turf to steal there girls and man did it work.I guess from now on Fast
Freddy will be along side all of our hunts to help get all his buddies
into gun barrell range.

Brad, it looks like you have a ton of turkeys. I would tike to see a show on turkey hunten. I love your show and watch it weekly. You truly depict every great hunting camp i have ever been envolved with. Showing the cutting up and emotions with friends at camp is the real reason we all go to the woods. Off course we all would like to harvest an animal. The harvest is secondary. Keep up the good work and thank you for showing how a great hunting camp should be.
