Brad (and boys) - LOVE THE SHOW! My sister, niece and I get together at 8am on Thursday mornings in central Missouri and watch (I am sure that will scew your viewer dynamics a little). The show is very funny! Wilson and the gate, the old guy in his underwear, "yeah, my wife is pretty, I better say that in case this gets aired"(OH - HE's IN TROUBLE!). We do however have a few comments we would like to share - it seems like there is a lot of "view of what guys do when they are alone on a hunt" (IE. cuss words, discussions about sex and poop). Those moments do make us laugh a little at the verification of the male species and his patterns, but we really want to know more about deer(wildlife) than men (we've got that species mastered already)... The show is missing your expertise about hunting deer - we don't get to see much "hunt". The show cuts from taking off for the hunt to a dead deer on the ground. In other shows, there is a good portion of "guide expertise" that is shared. Tell us what kind of land you chose to put the tree stands on and why, which direction the deer came from, what patterns you've noticed, and let us know that you know more about hunting than the average Joe (we know you must, we just can't tell from the show). OH YEAH, and NEVER try to make a man feel better about the deer he shot - three girls having breakfast on the couch knew that buck wasn't a 120+ and needed 2 more years of growth - for a while, we weren't sure YOU really knew that...but then we came to the conclusion that you were trying to make the shooter feel better :-) WE WANT THE LODGE LIFE TRUCK TO COME TO MID MISSOURI!

2bfishin,

Thank you for your comment and interest in the show. We are very glad to hear that viewers are enjoying the show.

Our reasoning behind leaving out the details of the hunt is every other hunting show does that already.

Lodge Life is a true reality based TV show capturing real life in a hunting lodge with professional guides and anxious hunters. We want to show what really happens when the guys go hunting.

We LOVE IT! Keep it up! The translator for Wilson was perfect! Wilson, we love you! and Brad, thanks for not hurting that little snake, we were a little worried. Episode 5 was a good one, but no illegal dumping? no speeding tickets?
I'm going back to work next week and am going to have to put a "standing" meeting on my Thursday morning calendar from 8-8:30. I'm hooked! PS. nice job on keeping the lodge clean!
